2026 Mike Hilton Memorial Golf TournamentFranklin High School⛳ 6th Annual Mike Hilton Memorial Friends & Family Golf Tournament 💙 HONORING A LEGACY Welcome to the 6th Annual Mike Hilton Memorial Friends & Family Golf Tournament! What started in 2021 as an honor to Coach Hilton and his Family has become one of the best outings of the summer. Mike was a longtime Math teacher at Franklin High School and was the Head Football, Head Boys & Girls Golf, and Assistant Basketball Coach as well during his time there. His impact left an impression on so many student-athletes as well as all of his friends and family throughout his life. Mike’s respect, honor, attitude, joy, and selflessness are many of the attributes that are present in this tournament! This tournament is to honor him and the joy that he brought to so many. All proceeds from this tournament go towards Franklin High School Boys & Girls Golf Programs. Money raised will go towards constant upkeep of team bags, uniforms, training equipment, etc. Additionally, Franklin High School is looking to install a state-of-the-art Indoor Golf Simulator in our brand new Fieldhouse that is being built (should be completed by Fall 2028). Over the course (no pun intended!) of the next 3-4 years, we will be looking to raise $10,000 towards the cost of this. Any amount will be greatly appreciated, however enjoying a wonderful day of family, friendship, golf, and dinner with wonderful people is the best way! Instructor: Laura Moore ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ About Laura....I grew up surrounded by amazing cooks. I have fond memories of Sunday dinners at my grandparent's house. My grandma would serve the ultimate comfort food of roast beef and mashed potatoes with gravy. At home, my mom was always experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and even won several cooking contests! Cooking was as natural to me as breathing. As a wife and mom of three, I have continued to prepare creative and delicious foods for my family. While food is life sustaining, so are the relationships that we build. The kitchen is often where we find family and friends gathering together. Our lives often revolve around food, in good times and in bad, whether celebrating a birthday or bringing soup to a friend who is under the weather. My classes are relaxed and allow students to have a good time while learning the fundamentals of cooking. As a cooking instructor, I love seeing kids in the kitchen having fun, being creative, and becoming confident in their skills!Summer 2026 -
