Franklin Public Schools, in partnership with the Franklin Community Education & Recreation Department, is excited to share that 4K Wraparound Care will be available beginning in the 2026-27 school year.

This new program will provide before- or after-session care for students enrolled in our half-day 4K program, helping support families who need a full-day option. While 4K Wraparound Care will be located at Ben Franklin Elementary School, Franklin Public Schools will provide mid-day transportation to/from the child’s home school for their AM or PM 4K class.

4K Wraparound Care Registration will open on this page on Monday, April 13, 2026 @ noon. 
Please note that limited seats for 4K Wraparound Care are available. The earlier you register for 4K programming, the more likely seats will be available for 4K Wraparound Care.

To be ready to register for 2026-27 4K Wraparound Care, please follow these steps:

• STEP 1 - Make sure your child is registered for 4K with Franklin Public Schools.  You can register on our How-To-Enroll Page here.  Note: All information about our FPS 4K Program is found on this page.  

• STEP 2 - Once your child is registered, FPS will provide you with an AM or PM placement.  You will receive this in the mail and by email. Note that first placement notices are going out around April 1st.  Once you receive placement, you can then register for 4K Wraparound Care with the Franklin Community Education & Recreation Department on this page beginning Monday, April 13, 2026 @ noon!
