Franklin Public Schools, in partnership with the Franklin Community Education & Recreation Department, is excited to share that 4K Wraparound Care will be available beginning in the 2026-27 school year.

This new program will provide before- or after-session care for students enrolled in our half-day 4K program, helping support families who need a full-day option. While 4K Wraparound Care will be located at Ben Franklin Elementary School, Franklin Public Schools will provide mid-day transportation to/from the child’s home school for their AM or PM 4K class.

In order to apply for 4K Wraparound Care, the student has to first be registered for 4K class through Franklin Public Schools. 4K class information is on our webpage here and registration occurs on our “How-To-Enroll” page here.

4K Wraparound Care registration will open in April, after families receive their AM/PM class placement in early April.
