Students will learn movements that were traditionally only taught to the Samurai Class. Shorin-Ryu training offers practical self-defense for people of all sizes and ages. Midwest Shorin-Ryu Health & Wellness Center provides a place for holistic, whole body exercise and training – Mind, Body & Spirit. Their application of Shorin-Ryu, Suiryushindo, teaches the practitioner to let their body “flow like water”. Water at rest is peaceful and calm. Water disturbed cannot be stopped. This is not an extreme fitness class...it is designed for the rest of us who want a little challenge and a lot of fun. The focus is on toning legs, arms, waist and burn calories.
