Mad Science - Speciality Day CampsPreschool & YouthMad Science Speciality Day Camps (Co-op with Muskego) Bubbling Potions and Fizzy Formulas Campers will find their love of Chemistry as they spend the day creating cool chemical reactions. They will love concocting a potion that creates a mini lava lamp, mixing up a batch of their own Slippery Slime and blending together ingredients to create their own super bouncy ball while exploring the world of chemistry. For added fun we’ll test the speed of molecules and create our own bubble galaxy! This camp is filled with so many fun hands-on experiments that kids will forget they are learning! Optic Wonders Camp Join this camp as we trick our brains through our eyes! Become immersed in the world of lasers, light, and color! Discover how laser light differs from white light as we bend & shine beams of light all around the room and dissect white light with our special specs! Witness a small indoor fireworks display to show how different metals react to heat and learn about tricks our eyes play on us by experimenting with mirrors and optical illusions! Kids will construct their own periscope to take home. **Children should bring their own lunch, drink and snack to camp (no peanut products please)**Summer 2025

Next Step Dance ClassesPreschool & YouthSummer 2025 Next Step Dance Classes Each class is held once a week for 4 weeks All classes are held at Next Step Dance Studio: LOCATION: 3501 W Ryan Rd, Franklin, WI 53132 Want your child to experience the magic of dance but don't want the long-term commitment? Summer is the perfect time. This is an excellent way to try something new, meet new friends and develop new skills. What to wear: Comfortable clothes you can move in. Socks or ballet shoes/clean gym shoes for Hip Hop. No dance shoes needed. Ages 18 months – 3 years: (Parent & Tot) Introduce your child to the magical world of movement and music. Each class promotes development in social, motor and cognitive skills. Ages 2 - 3: Teddy Bear Ballerina A thirty minute introductory dance class containing ballet, creative movement and Teddy Bears! The use of props enables the young dancers to use their imagination, creativity and, most of all, have fun! Ages 3 - 5: Sparkle Fun The purpose of the class is to introduce young dancers to different styles of dance and inspire movement and creativity within a positive environment. Ages 4 - 5: Twinkle Jazz/Acro Class includes jazz and acro. Acro teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline & concentration. We will introduce somersaults, cartwheels, head stands & back bends. Jazz dance uses upbeat music & dancers will learn to use body isolations, leaps, turns & basic jazz steps. Ages 3 - 5: Hippity Hop This class will introduce new and basic hip hop movement and is a fun way to learn a new style of dancing that is not extremely technical or difficult. Each class begins with a warm-up filled with stretching and conditioning, moves into across the floor combinations, and ends with center floor choreography with popular hip hop steps from today’s dance floors. Ages 6 - 8: Level I Explore Dance (Ballet,Jazz, Lyrical) This class sampler will cover ballet, jazz, and lyrical dance styles. Each class consists of a warm-up, across the floor combinations, and a choreographed dance. Jazz is an energetic style with sharp movements and upbeat music. Ballet develops strength, poise, coordination, flexibility, and expression. Lyrical blends both ballet and jazz styles of dance. Ages 6 - 8: Level 1 Hip Hop Hip Hop provides a structured method of learning various Hip Hop dance movements in a fun filled and vibrant class environment. Each class consists of a warm-up, across the floor combinations, and choreography with popular hip hop steps from today’s dance floors. Ages 6 - 8: Level 1 Poms Poms introduces dancers to the energetic and dynamic style of pom dancing, blending elements of cheerleading, jazz, and hip-hop. This class builds strength, coordination, and rhythm while fostering teamwork and confidence through performance-based training. Ages 6 - 8: Level 1 Acro Acro teaches flexibility, contortion, balance, strength, muscle control, and above all, discipline and concentration. We aspire to change minds and bodies and use beat and alternative movement to launch people to new heights. POUND® was created in 2011 by two women who were both recreational drummers and former college athletes. It’s designed to enhance brain/body connections through the synchronizing movements and our auditory system. The Ripstix are an extension to our arms and increases the muscular force required in each movement. Learn how to provide support to an injured or ill pet until vet care is available. Learn proper first aid and pet CPR techniques for dogs or cats. Information will be provided about assembling your own pet specific first aid kit, so you are prepared in an emergency. After completion, in accordance with veterinarian reviewed and approved Pet Pro Hero curriculum, you will receive a 2-year certification.
