Futura Language - Before/After School Spanish Program

If your child attends Southwood Glen or Robinwood Elementary, Spanish will be held at their school.  Parents, you can register for Fall and Spring Sessions (8 weeks each), or for the year (16 weeks).  If Spanish is not offered at your child's school, we invite you to register your child for evening Spanish class at the CERC.

— Fall Spanish (8 weeks)
Celebrate the season in Spanish! In Vamos con las Tradiciones (Let’s go with Traditions!) students explore fall and winter vocabulary through songs, games, and festive cultural traditions. Kids practice simple conversations about greetings, colors, weather, clothing, emotions, and seasonal activities while discovering celebrations like Día de los Muertos and La Navidad. A fun, hands-on class that builds confidence speaking Spanish—no experience needed.

— Spring Spanish (8 weeks)
Spring into Spanish with Vamos con las Celebraciones (Let’s go with Celebrations!). Students explore spring and summer vocabulary through songs, games, and cultural traditions from Spanish-speaking countries. Topics include greetings, colors, weather, nature, clothing, and holidays like Valentine’s Day, Semana Santa, and Independence Day. Kids practice simple conversations while having fun. No prior Spanish experience required—just curiosity and a love of fun!
